Cardiopulmonary Care
Coalinga Regional Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Department provides basic respiratory care such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, ventilator support and pulmonary physiology, which includes pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulse oximetry. The department also offers cardiology care and non-invasive diagnostics such as EKGs, and cardiac event monitoring. Echocardiography, an advanced technology which uses ultrasound (sound waves) to test heart function and blood flow health, is also offered.
